The ASLSRI Young Scientist Award recognizes emerging talents in Life Sciences who demonstrate exceptional research potential, innovation, and scientific excellence. It aims to encourage young academicians and researchers to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of scientific knowledge.
- 🧬 One award for Assistant Professors / Early Career Faculty
- 🔬 One award for Ph.D. Research Scholars / Postdoctoral Fellows
- Open to Assistant Professors, Research Associates, Research Officers, Postdoctoral Fellows, and Ph.D. holders in Life Sciences.
- Candidates must be below 40 years of age as on 31 December of the award year.
- Applicants must hold Lifetime Membership of ASLSRI.
- Research Publications: SCI/SCOPUS indexed journals (Q1/Q2 emphasis).
- Research Projects & Grants: Participation or leadership.
- Innovation & Patents: Filed, granted, or innovative outputs.
- Scientific Contributions: Conferences and symposia.
- Awards & Recognitions: Fellowships and honors.
- Future Research Potential: Vision and impact.
- Featured in the ASLSRI Annual Report and Official Website.
- Opportunities for collaboration, presentation, and publication.
- Open exclusively to Life Members of ASLSRI.
- No application fee.
- Recognition Certificate and official publicity.
- Obtain Lifetime Membership of ASLSRI.
- Complete the online Google Form.
- Upload CV and supporting documents.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected.
- Only Life Members are eligible.
- One application per year.
- No correspondence on selection.
- False information leads to disqualification.
- ASLSRI decision is final.

Eligibility
Open to Assistant Professors, Research Associates, Research Scholars, Postdoctoral Fellows, and Ph.D. holders in Life Sciences who are actively engaged in research. Candidates must be below 35 years of age as on 31st December of the award year.
General Guidelines
- Open exclusively to Life Members of ASLSRI.
- No application fee for any award category.
- Awardees receive a Recognition Certificate and are featured in the ASLSRI Annual Report & Website.
Application Procedure
Eligible candidates must first obtain Life-time Membership of ASLSRI. After becoming a member, applicants are required to fill out the online application form and upload all supporting documents as specified. Incomplete or incorrect submissions may not be considered for evaluation.
Terms & Conditions
- Awards are open only to Life Members of ASLSRI.
- Each candidate may apply for only one award per year; must submit before the deadline.
- No queries or correspondence regarding the selection process will be entertained.
- Incomplete or improperly filled applications will not be accepted.
- If an applicant does not fully match the criteria of the applied category, they may be considered for a more suitable award category with consent obtained prior to notification.
- False, misleading, or fraudulent information will lead to disqualification and possible revocation of any award conferred.
- The decision of ASLSRI is final and binding; the Society reserves the right to present or withhold any award without providing reasons. No legal action or claims will be entertained.
